Description

The present set-up is designed to conduct the flocculationtest in the laboratory. The test is called as "Jar Test"which is routinely performed by the water treatmentoperators in the industry.The laboratory scale unit of Flocculation test unit consistsof 6 Nos. of Glass Flocculating vessels. These are providedon a translucent base which is illuminated from bottomby a florescent lamp. Each vessel is provided with aseparate stirrer. A Paddle type SS Impeller is fixed on thestirrer shaft and the speed of the impellers can beregulated with the provided speed controller. All stirrersare driven with one motor. This paddle assembly can beeasily removed for the cleaning purpose.
