PRODUCT DETAILS
The set-up is designed to study Coriolli's Component of Acceleration of a slider crank mechanism. Here themechanical slider system is replaced by a continuousstream ofwater flowing through a steady rotating pair oftubes. These tubes can be rotated at various speeds byusing a swinging field motor which also acts asdynamometer. A Perspex window on top of the tank givesclear view of the process and prevents splash of thewater over the side of the tank. The dynamometercontinuously measures torque applied to the rotatingtubes. The equipments is self contained, water recirculating, provided with its own speed control unit andwater circulating pump.
