Description
The set up consists of a glass column. Water is fed at thetop of the column along the walls to make the column awetted wall column. Hot air from heating chamber withknown humidity is allowed to pass through the columnvertically upward and evaporation in the liquid filmaround the wall takes place. The flow rates of water andair can be independently varied to simulate differentconditions. Instrumentation is provided to measure thedry and wet bulb temperatures at air inlet and outlet.
